Lounging or smoking caps were popular informal gentleman's wear from the late 1840's
through the 1880's. Fashioned of wool, silk or velvet most were topped by a tassel.
Pattern contains multiple sizes and instructions for quilting and braiding. Caps are multi-colored silks & velvets.
